Morocco is on the very northern western tip of Africa and is only 14 kilometres from Spain at the shortest point. Morocco is a great location to escape the European winter and relax on the beaches but I can tell you it’s not just beaches but beautiful cities mountains and also a lot of desert.

The desert is completely a must-visit once you’re in Morocco.  The experience in the desert is fascinating and very memorable. Make sure that out of all the best places to visit, you do keep a few days for a trip to the Sahara Desert, one of the finest places to travel in Morocco!

The desert invites the traveler to contemplate the purity of the sky and its Milky Way, from the Berber tent.

The shades of colour on the dunes at sunset… Live the silence of the desert, only interrupted by the songs of the Tuareg camel drivers and the tea ceremony, a symbol of hospitality and decorum towards visitors. They share their love of the desert and their traditions.

Jemaa el-Fna

Jemaa el-Fna is an enormous city square and market place which has been a symbol of Marrakech place since was established sometime between the 11th and 14th centuries. Today the sq. enjoys United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization World Heritage website recognition and you’ll be able to step back in time and Live Morocco cultural traditions as exercised by storytellers and musicians,.

 Ait ben Haddou

Another place in the film industry it’s Ait ben Haddou, gives a stunning red desert landscape making, it an ideal place for films or serious shootings. This place is a historic forfeited village made of clay and is located between the Sahara desert and Marrakesh. This ancient beautiful city contains many secrets which you can hear from the local people living here. One of the most believed stories is that the architecture of this place Ben Hadou still lies buried in his tomb behind the city, to reach this beautiful location you have to pass through the Atlas Mountains which is a four hour drive but the landscapes are more than just beautiful making the whole drive adventurous and mesmerizing.

High Atlas

Being North Africa’s highest chain of mountains, High Atlas is popularly referred to as the mountain of mountains. This place may be a paradise for trekkers, particularly from spring to fall. It runs diagonally across Morocco for about a thousand KM, and its serrated geological period peaks act as a weather barrier.

Fes el Bali

UNESCO listed Fes el Bali as a World Heritage web site in 1981 beneath the name Medina of Fez. Fes el Bali a large exhibition dedicated to Moroccan history and heritage. Vital sites abound like Qarawiyyin Quarter, Andalusian Quarter, Mosques and zawiyas, Madrasas, and Tanneries. It’s a wonderful place.

Legzira beach

This part of the Moroccan coast is absolutely stunning and is well worth the visit, it’s close to the city of Sidi Ifni. This beach has two formidable rock arches which make for some truly spectacular sunsets, the beach is quite popular for locals at weekends but this doesn’t matter as the beach stretches eight kilometres. This beach is seen as one of the most beautiful stretches of sand in all of Africa. The beach is located in the south of morocco and is a four hour bus ride away from Agadir.

Dakhla, kitesurfing Hub

Slowly emerging as one of the popular Morocco tourist spots, Dakhla is a place that one of its kind. Established in the year 1844 by the Spanish, Dhakla is 40 KMS stretch sitting on the sandy peninsula. The desert spread as far the eye can see is a significant part of this spot in Morocco. For some people, Dakhla may appear sort of a remote destination by virtue of the structures standing during this destination, but thanks to some nice hotels, restaurants, and facilities of thrilling spots, this destination is developing to be favorite amidst locals and tourists alike.

The chellah

The chellah could be a fascinating walled archeological website incorporating Roman ruins and an Islamic burial sepulture set simply outside the town of capital of Morocco. Though it’s currently largely in ruins, the positioning was once home to a prosperous ancient Roman settlement dominating a fertile plain getting Near the Moroccan coastline.

Bahia Palace

The pretty Bahia Palace may be a highlight in Marrakech and is one amongst the most-visited attractions in Morocco. Art and architecture enthusiasts can study the unique fusion of Islamic and Morocco architectural styles as they stroll through the impressive palace, which was built around 1859 and is sumptuously adorned from floor to ceiling.

Taghazout

This is a relaxed chilled out surfer town on the southern Atlantic coast just 30 minutes away from Agadir making it super easy to get to. Taghazout is a great place to visit with lots of lovely restaurants and beaches to choose from. The town is mostly made up of surfers. I do highly recommend surfing in Taghazout as it is so good and the surf lessons are pretty cheap. Just a 20 minute walk from Taghazout is the world famous anchor point there and you can see some of the most talented surfers doing their thing.

Bab al-Mansour in Meknes

Considered as one of the most beautiful gates in the world, located in front of the El Hedim square, Bab Mansour was built by Sultan Moulay Ismaïl and completed by his son Moulay Abdellah (1732). According to the legend, this door is that the work of a Christian. Bab Mansour includes an eight meters high gap within the sort of an arch. The latter is embellished with excised ceramic scrolls and is framed by a good band consisting of a relief lattice on a polychrome mosaic background and supported by huge columns.

Hassan II Mosque

The Hassan II Masjid is one of all the foremost landmarks in Casablanca and is a Tourist Attraction for all guests inquisitive about art and design.

The structure occupies a noteworthy location on a platform that extends over the Atlantic and contains a novel section with a glass floor (off-limits to visitors), faithful kneel down to pray straight over the Atlantic Ocean.
